I have worked with this long standing client on numerous projects in the past. I was asked to create a logo for a pub they had acquired and were restoring, and following that, build their website.
I researched the local area and, along with other points of interest, discovered a forest of historical note nearby that contains ash trees. The client embraced this idea and the ash tree became the basis for the logo.
The colour palette was developed along with choice of fonts and this was passed on to the interior designer and sign makers. This has ensured consistency through all areas of the pub and restaurant from interior signage through to printed menus.

A userflow was drawn up for the client to consider, iterate and approve before any design work was started.
Once the homepage mockup was approved the pages were built using Bootstrap. I worked alongside a separate software company, specialising in hotel booking and payment systems, and integrated the online booking process to the website.
